Getaway

This is my first game. I have played around with different game engines in the past but have never completed a project before now. It is obviously not fully complete since the backgrounds are from Dungeon Alchemist and the art and animations are not exactly where I would like them to be but I wanted to complete a small game project and I did, so that is something. I did not get to work on this game for the entirety of the Game Jam I made it for was running, due to my job, so I am just happy it has a beginning and ending honestly.

The story concept was inspired by a travel video I saw where two guys rent an Air BnB in a mine shaft,   the deepest B&B in the world apparently. I just wondered what would happen if someone tried to copy that idea in America and it went terribly wrong.  There are a lot of ideas I left out of the game for the sake of time. Maybe I will revisit the idea again but for now it is a rough concept.
